Lush Summit 2018 — Digital Ethics

We recently collaborated with Lush Cosmetics and PDS to deliver their latest Digital Ethics campaign at this years Lush Summit — An exhibition on ethical electronics: the device in your pocket. The human beings who mined the materials, and the wars funded by conflict minerals. The factory workers who piece together the technology. The sprawling waste dumps where phones go to die.

Using screen projected content throughout, the concept was to tell the story of your mobile device in familiar environment while remaining low-fi and energy efficient.

Lush Creative Showcase 2017

The Lush Creative Showcase is a two day event held in London at the Old Billingsgate Market. Over four floors of music, film, technology and of course product, the Creative Showcase is a fully immersive event full of creativity and innovation within cosmetics.

We were fortunate enough to be invited back to collaborate with the team in creating a series of Cinema 4D animations, posters and typographic murals. We're currently working on our new site, where we will feature a full case study of our work with Lush Cosmetics, but below is a small preview of what we have been up to.


New Client: GoCardless

Established in 2011, GoCardless is the leading Direct Debit solution in Europe. They ensure businesses of all sizes can collect recurring payments via this trusted and popular yet previously inaccessible to SMEs and archaic system. GoCardless process over £3bn a year for over 25,000 businesses from sole traders and startups to large corporates including The Guardian, UK Government and Thomas Cook.

We've recently started working with their in-house design team to support with various marketing collateral and brand assets. You can download our first collaboration together here

The Mega Collective — Rich Hallsworth

We're pleased to welcome Rich Hallsworth to the Mega Collective. Rich is a 3D motion designer working primarily with Cinema 4D, Octane Render and After Effects. Working across brand films, commercials, broadcast graphics, music videos and VR content for clients such as the BBC, MTV, Sony and Ebay. We're very excited to have him onboard and you can view Rich's Showreel here.

Coastal Pass

Coastal Pass is a new initiative for visitors to explore the east coast of England. Created by the National Coastal Tourism Academy (NCTA), Coastal Pass is a booking tool that enables visitors to plan and build their own itineraries, creating bespoke short breaks and holidays. The Coastal Pass is funded by The UK Government’s Discover England Fund and administered by VisitEngland.

We worked closely with NCTA to create a new identity, desktop application and website design. In addition to various brand assets, guidelines and marketing material.

NLG: Never Let Go®

Never Let Go, make high performance safety products. Robust, reliable, innovative and technically intelligent. They’re used and endorsed by Exxon Mobil, Bechtel, GE, Boeing, Siemens and Network Rail – leaders in oil and gas, renewables, utilities, transportation and construction.

123 Tool Tethering™ is the first of many branding projects we will be collaborating with NLG on.

Elliot Brown Watches

In 2012 we worked with Elliot Brown to design and create their now iconic brand. This included the design of the Canford and Bloxworth watches, packaging, marketing materials, exhibition stands and e-commerce website.

Four years on and it was time (pun unavoidable) for a refresh. As official timekeepers of the world renowned Clipper Yacht Race the new logo will feature on the team mainsail and transom.


Lush Spring Prize

The Lush Spring Prize is a new, one-of-a-kind prize and annual conference launched by Lush and co-operative Ethical Consumer to reward projects that are working towards environmental and social regeneration. A £200,000 fund will be shared across 11 awards in four different prize categories. 

We supported Lush is the design and development of a new logo which will be used to promote the fund in 2017.

Mr Lee's Noodles

Mr Lee's Noodles are a Bournemouth based start-up who specialise in gourmet noodles in a cup. Combining Eastern culture and Western convenience, Mr Lee's Noodles are the healthy alternative to other pot based snacks.

We recently spent an intensive three days working with Mr Lees Noodles to redesign their brand identity (a custom drawn word marque) and packaging design, which is now being developed by their in-house design team.

Initially when drawing the new logo we wrestled with use (aesthetic) of the apostrophe in Mr Lee's but later developed the 'chopsticks' as a fitting alternative :) — Below is a selection of our initial concepts using the newly created logo.

Wedding Sparrow — Wedding Blog of the Year 2016

Wedding Sparrow is an internationally recognised fine art wedding blog based in the UK, with over 1 million unique visitors per year. It has recently been awarded Wedding Blog of the Year 2016 by Wedding Magazine (UK) having been previous winners of Best Newcomer and Best Designed Blog in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

In early 2015, we redesigned Wedding Sparrow to accommodate its continued growth and popularity to include a new Vendor Guide and Shop. The Vendor Guide is now one of the industry’s leading directory’s for brides seeking world class wedding photographers, alluring venues and couture bridal attire.
